Should You Get Rid Of Extra Weight As Well Get Rid Of Toxins

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By Ralph Morton We are all exposed to thousands of toxins and chemicals on a daily basis at work, in the home, through the air we breathe, our food and water supply, and through the use of pharmaceutical drugs. In addition, we are eating more sugar and processed foods than ever before in human history and regularly abuse our bodies with various stimulants and sedatives. If you never wondered or cared much about the pollution around us, it’s time to change your views and start paying attention to this problem. For decades, scientists have been studying the pollutants in our air, water, food, and soil. U.S. industries manufacture over 6 trillion pounds of 9,000 different chemicals a year. They dump billions of pounds of industrial chemicals into our air and water year after year. So now scientists have started to examine pollution levels in humans and their findings are deeply disturbing. Research clearly proves that our bodies are not capable of eliminating all the different toxins and chemicals we inhale and ingest every day. They simply accumulate in our cells (especially fat cells), tissues, blood, organs (such as the colon, liver and brain) and remain stored for an indefinite length of time causing all kinds of health problems.1 in 3 people have Cancer (2 billion+!!!!)……1 in 4 people die of Cancer…..1 in 8 women have Breast Cancer…..17 million people have Asthma…..4 million people have Parkinson’s worldwide ….2.5 million people have Multiple Sclerosis…..4 million people have Lupus….4.6 million people have Alzheimer’s….40 million people have arthritis….18.2 million people have Diabetes representing 6% of the U.S. population…..16% of the U.S. has chemical sensitivity and 7% have been diagnosed with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity …..1 million people in the U.S. have Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome……24 % of the U.S. experience a mental illness in their lifetime……1 in 6 children in U.S. suffers from a developmental, learning, or behavioral disability such as Autism, Mental Retardation, ADHD, and birth defects. Synthroid, a synthetic thyroid hormone is the most prescribed drug in the U.S…….1 in 11 Americans have overactive bladders Toxins have now become one of greatest problems that face humanity today, there not a great lot an individual can do other than keeping pressure on our Governments. It however, makes a lot of sense for a person to have himself/herself and family take advantage of the many cleanses out there. Read Your Market’s Mind - 3 Great Market Research Resources

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

By Jeff Smith Starting a new online business, developing a new product, launching a new marketing campaign, buying advertisingcan all depend on how well you are able to research yourmarket. All business is based on demand. The formula and 40 techniques for finding demand we listin “The Ultimate Information Entrepreneur’s Success Package”at http://www.infoproductcreator.com show that there are many ways to discover and test demand. One of the leading ways is to look at magazines, journals, and media sources within a given market or on a specific target. Specifically, what you want to see is evidence that: 1. There are multiple magazine titles focused on your market and/or proposed business idea. If there are no magazines targeting your market, that is a surefire warningsign that you may not have your market segmentation or problem statement correct. 2. You want to see evidence that the magazines targetingyour area of interest are healthy. How often do they publish, what do they sell for, how many pages are in the latest issues, how are they supported (what is the subscriptionprice and how much is it to advertise), what is their circulation, how long have they been publishing, has their format and topic been consistent over time? 3. You would like to see an active advertising section thatshows evidence of other business owners within your marketspending money on advertising, consistently. The presenceof recurring advertising is one sign of a healthy market. Lookat what they are selling for signs of what products are in demand. Personally, I make it a habit to visit a large bookstore at least once a week to take note of new magazines, new issues, article patterns and advertising patterns in magazines withinmy markets. Another approach is to research these magazines online. Hereare a few resources that can help you perform this research online: 1. Publist - free media guide search, they require your contact info first. Good for researching titles, publishersfrequency, etc… http://www.publist.com 2. Magazines.com is a great (and massive) source for findingout rankings of magazines within given subject areas. http://www.magazines.com 3. MediaFinder is a super online resource, but requires a fairly steep fee - $49/month, which may definitely beworth it for 30 days when you are researching new markets. http://www.mediafinder.com Finally, don’t discount making it a habit to wander throughyour favorite large bookstore once a week to take note ofmagazine titles, health of the magazine (#pages, price of advertising and subscription, how long published, #subscribers, etc…) Turn Your Knowledge Into High Profit, Hot Selling Infoproducts(Reports, Ebooks, Books, Seminars, Courses, etc…) Discover theFormula For Creating Your Own Infoproducts In This Free 7-partFormula Available Here: http://www.infoproductcreator.com/ebook/ Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Jeff_Smith http://EzineArticles.com/?Read-Your-Markets-Mind—3-Great-Market-Research-Resources&id=39678 phentermine online no prescription phentermine online prescription phentermine online prescription where to buy phentermine without

You Can’t Beat Perennials For Glorious Color All Season Long

Monday, January 28th, 2008

By Yvonne Cunnington When you start gardening with perennials, it’s easy to think that all you have to do is get your plants into the ground, and with the exception of weeding, watering and cutting back, your garden will be done. But here’s what really happens: in the first year your new plants are underwhelming the clumps small, the flowers sparse. By the second year, your perennials have grown fuller and have more flowers, but in the third season watch out your plants look like they’re on steroids, and you look like an accomplished gardener. After that, many plants get bigger each season, while the odd one confounds you by doing a disappearing act. Responding to the inevitable change is your challenge as a flower gardener. Veteran gardeners say that no flower garden is ever truly finished. When I was starting out about 15 years ago, my husband used to joke that my plants should have been on wheels because I moved them so much. Perennial plants are the backbone of the flower garden because they’re the plants with staying power. Their leaves die back as winter approaches, but with luck, the following spring, they come back. Some plants are short-lived, but old favorites like daylilies, hostas and peonies can last for decades. The right perennials for your garden When you’re planning your flower garden, there are many choices to make some purely aesthetic, such as match-making with winning perennial combinations, and some purely horticultural -what grows best in your conditons. The more closely you base your decisions on meeting the needs of your plants (in terms of light requirements, soil, moisture levels and so on) and on which plants look good together, the more likely you are to be successful with your perennial gardening. Find Collectibles, Antiques, Heirlooms and Art - Online Auctions or Offline

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

By David Arnold Livingston Every one of us has that special something that has been in the family for as long as we can remember. It could be an antique jar, a vase, or whatever. As far as we know they have been handed down from generation to generation waiting there patiently for the day that an auction decides how much its really worth. Valuable items such as collectibles, antiques, and rare objects like heirlooms are a part of a countrys culture. They tell us what kind of people a certain place has and what kind lifestyle they had. These valuables are often times overlooked because of the influx of technology. But one thing remains certain, they are constantly being sought after by people who understand and value these items. People who look at it as a very important part of the story a certain family has to tell and the lifestyle they are projecting. Most of these items are locked away in a cold and dark corner waiting for the day they can once again be part of a family’s heritage. The good thing about having a lot of these rare collectibles is that they tend to get more and more expensive as the years pass, because they arent just good to look at. They are part of history and the part of the culture. And the good thing about it is if these items are kept in mint condition, they can benefit the people taking care of them with monetary rewards. One good place to know just how much value there is in taking care of things of the old, are events like an auction. In an auction, people who really understand and have a deep appreciation for valuable and rare things come together to translate into monetary considerations the effort of people taking good care of things of the past and other memorabilia of the past generations. In an auction people that know what they want put up a very fierce contention for things they are sure to cost them a lifetime to get. Paintings and art pieces of master artists are sold for millions and millions because the people bidding for it know that after the auction, it will be priceless. And priceless is a word that can easily be negotiated. There are a lot of benefits that can be derived from an auction, and both the person with the rare item and the treasure hunter of sorts can see it, especially when the stakes are getting higher at every bid. Owners that bring their rare collectibles and antiques to an auction are rewarded for their diligence in taking care of the items. An auction can be very good to a person that knows how to take care of his paintings of great contemporary artists because these are the top sellers in any auction. People who bring in previously hard to find items are rewarded by the auctioneers with persistence and lots of money. Meanwhile, people who seek to complete their collections of Van Gogh paintings flock to an auction in the hopes that his own collection would be complete and they themselvescan put up an auction and try to sell their hard work to other people. These treasure hunters are the modern day Indiana Jones that seek to recover the works of an almost forgotten time. The completion of a collection is like their lifetime achievement. David Arnold Livingston is an entrepreneur with many years of successful business experience. The Attraction Of Cell Phone Screensavers

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Philip_Nicosia]Philip Nicosia The number of cell phone users have grown tremendously over the years. It is quite unprecedented to think that millions of people are already using a technology that could still be considered just getting out of its infancy. Of course, because of the insane level of acceptance for cell phones it is but natural that other markets that can be considered as products of the cell phone craze have popped up to take advantage of the publics fascination with cell phones. The market has been flooded with many phone-related products ,accessories and utilities. This phenomenon can be directly linked to the fact that if people are not using their cell phones, they would like to watch it. This attraction for looking at cell phones has resulted in the rising popularity of cell phone screensavers. Cell phone screensavers are just like any other screensaver in that it is a picture or maybe moving graphic that is activated when a cell phone has been left in a state of inactivity for a preset period of time. Of course, the time is set by the user of the phone. Cell phone screensavers are a very colourful and arresting addition to a cell phone although these types of screensavers are harder to find or get hold of compared to computer screensavers. But this situation is changing because more and more people want to install screensavers on their phones. This increase in the market for screensavers will only mean that screensavers for cell phones will become more readily available soon. At present there are phone manufacturers that already incorporate some screensavers as a stock feature on some of their phone models. Screensavers can also be downloaded on the internet or accessed from the service provider that provides your cell phone line subscription. Cell phones that have an included phone screensavers as a built in feature are gaining ground in the market. There are phone manufacturers who only put one screensaver in their phone handsets while others give users a choice by putting in more than one screensaver. Of course, it is in the internet that cell phone users can go crazy and get the screensavers that they want. The internet offers cell phone users more options in terms of the kind of screensavers that cell phone owners want. There are so many genres that they can choose from for their phones that can fit not only their personalities, likes and hobbies but even their moods. Some of these screensavers can be downloaded for free while others will require a user to pay for the right to download the screensaver. But before downloading any screensaver from any of the online sites that provide cell phone utilities and accessories, the first thing a user must do is to identify the size of his cell phones screen. Some of the most common cell phone screen sizes are 128X128, 101X80, 128X160, 176X220, or 174X132. A user must identify the correct screen size as well as the compatibility of the screensaver with the cell phone before downloading and installing the screensaver in order to avoid any unpleasant compatibility problems or cell phone crashes. The Calorie Formula -understand Them and Lose Them

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

By Jan Bonnevier We have all heard of those new diets, Atkins, low carb, high protein etc. Some of us have tried them with good results. There’s no doubt about that they work. They all have one thing in common though - they give us the impression that we no longer have to think about, or bother about, calories. Nothing could be more far from the truth, unfortunatly. Calories still do count! What these new diets basically do is that they make you feel more satisfied on fewer calories. There are no mystical ingredients or unknown secrets that can change the lawof energy balance. In other words, nothing will ever change thefact that if your metabolic system doesn’t consume more energy than you take in, you will gain weight. If your metabolic systemconsumes more energy than you take in, you will lose weight.Period. The universe is made that way. What are calories then? Are they some small evil molecules hidingin the food, just waiting to invade your body and make your lifea fatty hell? No, of coarse they’re not. A calorie is just a word that defines a certain amount of energy, nothing else. One calorie is the energy it takes to heat one gram of water onedegree celcius. Mostly on food packages, the amount of caloriesare presented as kcal, which means kilo calories i.e. 1000 calories. So, one kcal is the energy it takes to heat one kilo,or one liter, of water one degree celcius. When a fitness chartor table says you burn for example 250 calories per half hourwhen jogging, it means 250 kilocalories. Since calories are energy units, they apply to all kinds ofenergy, not only food. For example lighting a 60W lightbulbobviously takes some energy. The energy it takes to light it for1,5 hour equals the calories you’ll get when eating 1 piece ofcheesecake! If you could fill your car up with BigMacs, youcould travel almost 0.5 mile on one BigMac! Does this knowledge make us any happier? Perhaps not but it cangive us an idea on how different excercises will burn calories.Calories are consumed by performing work, in physical meaning. The amount of calories consumed equals power multiplied withdistance, power x distance. What does it mean? It means that the higher the power applied toan exercise and the longer the distance this power is in effect, the more calories are burned. You can easily see that this explains why low intensity traininglike walking can be very effective, provided the distance is ofsignificant length. You can also see that if you apply more poweri.e. higher intensity, you will burn more calories compared towalking slowly the same distance. Many people avoid to start excercising because last time theymade an attempt they started at a high intensity level. The result is horrorful memories of short-of- breath, nearly-fainting, close- to- death feelings. The assumption that highintensity is the only way to burn calories is probably the reasonmost of us never develop a habit of regular exercise. Next time you decide to improve your fitness level, remember theformula power x distance. Start by walking in a pleasant pace inlet say half an hour three times a week. Increase the time(distance) by a quarter of an hour for the next three weeks. After four weeks you will feel better, look better and healthierand you will also discover that you have automatically increasedyour walking speed. Without even notice. What does that mean? It means that you have automatically increased the power factorin the formula wich in turn means more calories burned! The next step in your training program is your own choise. Youcan either increase distance or pump up your walking speed. Ifyou have the time, why not both? How To Find The Best Cellular Phone Plan For Your Calling Needs

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tim_Gorman]Tim Gorman It seems like the cell phone has been with us forever, even though in reality it’s only been a few short years. Are you still holding out against the crowd and doing without a cell phone? Nowadays it’s a cell phone has almost become a necessity. Is it the technology that bamboozles you? Or are you like most people, and find the job of the best cellular plan too daunting? There are so many choices available to consumers, it’s hard to know where to start in order to fine the best cellular phone plan for your needs. The key to success is to do some research and work out exactly what you need. So let’s start with the basic questions you need to ask. What will you be using your cell phone for? Do you just want to have it with you in case of an emergency? Or are you keen to utilize cheap or free long distance calls? Perhaps you have an elderly or ill relative and you need to be certain you can be contacted at any time if there’s a problem. These are all good reasons for having a cell phone, but they require different plans. You also need to think about how much time you expect to spend talking on your cell phone, and also what time of day you’re most likely to make calls. Modern cell phones have an enormous number of possible features, so you need to think about how many of these youre actually likely to want or use. Some possible options include: Caller ID Voice mail Text messaging Three-way calling Inbuilt camera There are plenty more bells and whistles available, these are just a few of the more common ones. Some of these will be available as a feature on the phone itself, such as the camera feature, and so your choice of phone is important. If you’re on the move a lot, then you may want to choose a Blackberry phone with email capabilities, so that you can keep up with your busy business or social life. It’s always worth looking around for special deals on pricing, or special offers. It’s quite common for cell phone companies to offer you a free phone if you sign a service agreement with them for a reasonable period of time. Sometimes you can send in a rebate coupon that essentially means you get the phone for free. If you’re keen on text messaging, then sometimes there are special offers of 6 months free text messaging. Be careful, though, that you don’t sign up for a plan because of a special offer, only to find that the ongoing conditions of the plan don’t suit your requirements. The bottom line is - do you research if you want to find the best cellular plan. Take a look at what several different companies are offering. Talk to family and friends and get their feedback about the cellular plan they’re on, and what sort of service they receive. You can also spend some time online looking at websites that do comparisons or plan searches for you. Basically all you have to do is enter what it is you plan to use the phone for, and the best cellular plans for those requirements pops up. Don’t make the mistake of walking into a cell phone store with no idea what you want or why, because you’ll quite probably find yourself walking out of there with a phone that’s more expensive than you need, with features you really don’t want. So take the time to learn a little about cellular phone plans, and you’ll find it much easier to choose the best plan for your needs. Offshore Banking Accounts

Monday, January 21st, 2008

By Eric Morris For big corporations and even small companies and individuals, it helps to have an offshore bank account to protect cash assets from taxes. An offshore bank account also brings great flexibility to businesses when it comes to fast cash mobility and transactions that usually happen in mergers and acquisitions. This type of setup is often restricted by rigid government controls over the currencies that are in the banks. Often, the best offshore banking locations are small states that do not have strict guidelines on the flow of foreign currencies in and out of their countries and those that do not impose taxes on deposited cash. Some of these are Mauritius, Bahamas, and Antigua and Barbuda. Business experts point out several advantages to having an offshore bank account. They say that many offshore banks charge inexpensive service fees from clients and return higher interest rates compared to most banks. These offshore banks provide their clients with the capability to transfer and move their funds anywhere in the globe at the push of the mouse button. Deposits and withdrawals can be done online and through debit-and-credit automated teller cards. Offshore banks also have strict policies when it comes to protecting the identities of their clients and accountholders. This can be beneficial for most companies that cannot be bothered by constant government and private scrutiny. Host countries of these offshore banks also provide tax shelter. Of course, it is a different scenario when you bring your money back to your country. Offshore banking is regulated by international laws, but most often it is up to the host countries how rigidly they implement them. This is probably the reason why some people have misconceptions about offshore banking as a means used by corporations to defraud their governments. But the fact is that offshore banking is a common practice among the worlds companies. And there is also no law restricting companies and even individuals from opening and maintaining offshore bank accounts. Offshore Banking provides detailed information on Offshore Banking, Antigua Offshore Banking, Offshore Banking Accounts, Bahamas Offshore Banking and more. The Most Frequent Relationship Mistakes People Make

Sunday, January 20th, 2008

By Tim Connor No relationship is without stress, disappointment, problems or frustration. Regardless of whether you have been married for 50 years, dating for 6 months or living together for anything inbetween I will guarantee that sooner or later you will make or have made one of the following relationship mistakes. There are many more than the 20 listed, but after over 30 years presenting relationship seminars around the world I can tell you these are the most common ones. Any of these do not have to cause the end of the relationship. But they often do because people refuse to; -Take responsibility for their own behavior.-See their personal blind spots.-Grow as a result of these challenges or behaviors.-Accept their partner unconditionally.-Admit their own personal agendas. Here are the 20. 1. Taking the responsibility for other peoples feelings, attitudes or emotions. 2. Carrying old baggage from the past into a new relationship. 3. Not managing conflict in a positive way. 4. Stuffing feelings, fears, desires, frustrations and emotions. 5. Not sharing your needs or desires with your relationship partner. 6. Spending too much time either in the future or the past. 7. Inadequate self-disclosure. 8. Unwillingness to accept the other person for who he/she really is. 9. Reacting to behavior rather than the person behind the behavior. 10. Invalidating the other persons opinions, values, beliefs and/or attitudes. 11. Not managing your expectations or attachment to the other persons outcomes. 12. Inability to forgive yourself and/or the other person. 13. Seeing the other person as having faults rather than a reflection of your own expectations or prejudices. 14. Trying to change your partner. 15. One or both of you have low self-esteem. 16. Emotional manipulation like blame, guilt or anger. 17. Not maintaining a romantic outlook regardless of your age. 18. Always thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the street. 19. Not understanding the needs of different personality styles. 20. When one or both people have an out of control ego. Remember it is easier to turn a friend into a lover than a lover into a friend. 10 Ways to Protect Yourself From Loan Fraud

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Bill_Darken]Bill Darken Almost every single day hundreds of people get coaxed into taking a loan from a disreputable person or company. It doesn’t matter who you are, if you’re even just a little green behind the ears, they’ll sniff it out and take no mercy. Here’s what I think you should stick to so that you can minimise or eradicate the risk. Some of these practitioners can be very persuasive and pretend to be looking after your interests, so be smart and read this list twice. In fact, you’d be wise to send it to a friend, relation or simply save it to your favourites/bookmark it if you use firefox. 1. First off allow some time to look around if you don’t have someone to use as a broker already. You’ll get a much better idea of costs and you’ll pick up different offerings which will help you in your discussions with your selected loans broker/firm later. 2. Never, ever sign a sales contract or loan documents that are blank or that contain information which is not true or you think is inaccurate. No matter what anyone says. 3. Ensure the costs and loan terms are what you originally agreed to before signing anything. You can even have someone else (professional) look at it for next to nothing. 4. Do not be persuaded into lying about (or choose to lie) about your income, expenses, or cash available for down payments in order to get a loan. If your lender persists with this kind of behaviour, you can bet they are up to other mischief as well. 5. Be wary of higher-risk loans such as balloon loans, interest only payments, and steep pre-payment penalties. Sometimes they can be used strategically for benefit but they can also be a nightmare if they get out of control. 6. Take care about disclosing things like your need of cash due to medical, unemployment or debt problems. You are vulnerable in these situations. 7. Don’t strip your home’s equity by refinancing again and again on things like holidays, restaurants, shopping sprees etc. It is so easy to do this when the funds are sitting in your bank account and easily accessible. Keep reminding your self that it’s a loan and it’s repayable. Stick to your goals. 8. Always be wary of false appraisals and any further business with the firm or person that carried it out or suggested it. 9. Ensure you able to afford to repay the loan. Allow for the unexpected like sickness or day to day life issues. Remember, if you get behind with payments you risk more that you’d like to think about. Simply borrow conservatively and leave some room to move. 10. Always get a minimum of 3 quotes and focus on the interest rate, including whether it’s paid daily, weekly. monthly etc. This article has been supplied courtesy of Bill Darken.
